FROM THE PEOPLE OF ILLINOIS

 

Whereas Section 14 of Article IV of the 1970 Illinois Constitution deems authority to the House of Representatives of the State of Illinois to conduct investigations to determine the existence of cause for impeachment of the Executive and Judicial branches,

 

We, the undersigned citizens of Illinois, call upon the Illinois House of Representatives to commence a Constitutionally-authorized investigation into whether the Executive officer's conduct justifies cause for impeachment.
